Product or Services Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.
Job Summary
Patient Care Solutions assists Cardinal Health customers with offering to their patients. The Sr. Specialist owns the customer relationship and establishes themselves as a strategic partner assisting customers with the deployment and reimbursement for clinical services within the retail pharmacy setting. Solutions include, but aren?t limited to provider credentialing, contracting, and medical billing of clinical services including advanced disease state management documentation and billing.
Responsibilities
Develop subject matter expertise of medical billing and clinical services reimbursement in the retail pharmacy setting
Lead customer implementations, support and training
Proactively engage customers and field resources when necessary
Develop and manage customer credentialing and contracting services
Oversee the ongoing training needs of the customer, the ISF, and the Managed Care Support Team including conducting regular webinar trainings
Develop subject matter expertise of medical billing reconciliation and revenue cycle management in the retail pharmacy setting
Communicate updates and value to key internal stakeholders within sales, operations, and marketing
Collaborative with internal stakeholders/resources, customers and prospective customers
Analytical environment requiring significant strategic planning and communication
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
3+ years medical benefit billing or revenue cycle management experience (specialty billing experience preferred)
3+ years Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers billing codes and requirements experience
3+ years customer facing experience
Excellent communications, presentation and writing skills
Aggressive style that is action oriented and results focused.
Ability to collaborate with internal resources to drive a great customer experience
Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Superior leadership and decision-making skills, preferred
Strong project management skills including the ability to facilitate multidiscipline teams
