What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Principal Architect of our Enterprise Supply Chain IT Organization
• Assume technical accountability of our current and future Warehouse Technologies platforms
• Assume technical accountability of our mission critical Regulatory solutions
• Own full responsibility of the application development, technical architecture, and execution of projects within:
  • Network Design and Optimization
  • Warehouse Automation and Integration
  • Warehouse software upgrades

Qualifications

• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related preferred
• Proven comprehensive experience and knowledge on Warehouse Management technologies, including Manhattan products preferred
• Application development, architecture and integration, and overall supply chain expertise preferred
• Experience supporting regulatory applications, warehouse automation, warehouse execution systems, cloud environments, and SaaS solutions preferred
• Experience as a full stack developer designing, coding, testing, and implementing large scale solutions preferred
• Deep expertise with Java, .NET, RESTful services, authorization/authentication, calling external system API services, implementing with a DevSecOps mindset, unit test automation, all with a product-centric, customer-first mindset is preferred

Anticipated salary range: $115,000-164,300
