Phlebotomy Supervisor
Purpose The phlebotomy supervisor performs phlebotomy, specimen processing and computer entry of test orders. Supports the laboratory manager with phlebotomy production. Maintains adequate phlebotomy staff to meet the daily production need. Trains and performs phlebotomist bi-annual and annual competency assessments. Receives and processes incoming specimens. Processes outgoing specimens for reference labs. Maintains inventory and ordering of lab supplies.
