What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Job Summary
The Senior Associate, Warehouse Operations is responsible for processing International shipments using both WMS and the partner portal to create orders and file required paperwork. They will be required to work with teammates, ensuring all available orders are shipped timely from all buildings. There will also be a variety of other specialty shipments that they may be required to learn and process, such as hazmat and USPS orders.
Responsibilities
Process International and Hazmat shipments within WMS and the portal system
Ability to lead the team in prioritizing daily volume
Answering or escalating any questions or concerns regarding orders from various departments within Cardinal via email and phone
Learn all areas within scope and provide help to others when necessary
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required some college preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Elite, MHE and RF gun is preferred
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift

Works with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
Provides general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
Anticipated hourly range:$21.50 per hour - $25.80 per hour
