This job posting is for the position of Pharmacy Manager of PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Winter Garden. This is a new PAM Health rehabilitation hospital located in Winter Garden, Florida, providing an opportunity to build your team and have a lasting impact on this hospital. PAM Health is the third largest private rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospital system. Cardinal Health provides inpatient pharmacy services and support for the PAM Health system. Responsibilities:
Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of hospital pharmacy operations and/or pharmacy support staff.
Administers and executes hospital and pharmacy policies and procedures.
Ensures pharmacy staff operate within established guidelines.
Will interact with staff, internal and external customers and peer groups at various management levels.
Directs monthly medication area inspections and provides supporting documentation.
Participates in hospital committee meetings necessary to enhance practice and patient care.
Performs special projects as requested.
Participates in interdisciplinary interactions to enhance the patient experience.
Acts as the licensed Consultant of Record, providing oversight and accountability of the Pharmacy department.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in pharmacy or PharmD
Must be a "good standing" licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida and eligible to act as Consultant of Record
Ability to develop, implement and lead all aspects of pharmacy operation
Ability to see, hear, write, and speak clearly in order to communicate with customers and health care professionals
Excellent planning, organizing and leadership skills
Strong customer orientation and negotiation skill
Customer/vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided if you are selected for an interview.
