Responsibilities
Function as an integral member of the Global Portfolio Marketing tram and support portfolio management for an exciting and high-profile portfolio by:
Driving product lifecycle management activities.
Advancing commercial enablement and market development initiatives globally.
Leading, managing, and developing a direct report to support product management activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including internal and external partners from across the globe to drive portfolio growth. Key activities include:
Assessing portfolio needs and making data driven product lifecycle decisions to deliver a competitive advantage and achieve sustainable economic success.
Working effectively across cross functional groups including but not limited to R&D, operations, regional marketing, sales and communications.
Identifying and remaining current on market trends by utilizing primary and secondary research channels.
Demonstrating critical thinking to translate complex scenarios into simple and actionable objectives.
Translating market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business.
Supporting the development of business cases, investment requests, forecasting, pricing, deal structures, and assessing strategic options.
Ensuring business decisions align with market needs by functioning as the upstream marketing lead for stakeholders such as R&D, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and regional commercial teams.
Demonstrates knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building a business & marketing plan.
Enabling regional commercial teams to deploy marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
8+ years of experience in related field, preferred
Detail oriented, highly organized with exceptional project management skills
Strong problem-solving skills, bias for action and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
Strong communication skills including interpersonal, written, and verbal
Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
Capable of multi-tasking and prioritization to deliver on business commitments in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Demonstrate financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
