What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for all customer communication regarding Strategic Stock Solution program
Process and monitor outbound orders to the customers facilities,
Coordinate inbound deliveries of the customers products into to program,
Monitor and mitigate product data issues that may impact ordering and reporting
Ensure that the solution meets the customer's needs and escalate enhancements for continual improvement
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Cardinal Health and customer industry (ex. Competitors, terminology, technology, reimbursement, and govt. regulation, etc.)
Customer advocacy to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
Establish, measure and report KPIs associated with the service / solution
Become a conduit between the customer, solution, internal Cardinal Health teams to optimize the ensure a steady supply chain
Manage customer expectations and requirements through proactive account review, facilitating issue resolution, and keeping customer informed of key initiatives.
Prevent order disruption to customer through elimination of potential inventory issues, substitution maintenance, core list review, and product standardization and conversions.
Coordinate and communicate Cardinal Health initiatives to the customer as needed
Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customer to support retention of the account.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
4-6 years professional experience
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Anticipated salary range: $79,000 - $118,545
