What Program and Project Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Program/Project Management is responsible for planning, developing, communicating, implementation, and evaluating programs that involve working with external entities and their corresponding resources as well as with the company's internal resources. May manage project and/or program managers within assigned program and/or project. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
Job Summary
The Implementation Manager (IM) is responsible for executing implementations of WaveMark Solutions at customer facilities. They serve as the primary onsite resource, supporting a cross functional project team within the WaveMark Project Management Office.
As an Implementation Manager, you will provide oversight for and perform tasks associated with improving customer's inventory management practices, hardware deployment, and system configuration. The Implementation Manager is a critical member of our implementation team, responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, leading on-site teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
A successful IM has project management and team leadership experience, has knowledge of hospital supply chain operations, is a self-starter, has strong communication skills, is well organized, and is comfortable and experienced in contacting and conversing with materials management personnel and clinical staff. A successful IM will demonstrate an ability to develop strong relationships, have a collaborative approach in a team environment, possess strong interpersonal and communicative skills, and hold themselves accountable to the highest level of standards.
Responsibilities
Independently execute implementation project plans on a department level
Responsible for system setup and configuration
Anticipate project risks and recommend action for mitigation.
Present and communicate project status updates to hospital personnel.
Resolve conflicts across project team members and customers without functional intervention.
Manage internal and external expectations to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned.
Provides operational direction to lower-level personnel resources.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
4+ years experience in related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of all acute healthcare supply chain areas and clinical operations.
Demonstrated knowledge of all project management concepts and principles.
Lean Six Sigma Certification Preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Exhibit strong analytical skills.
Self-motivated approach.
Track record of consistently meeting performance goals.
Ability to travel 80%+ of time
Must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox), Annual TB/PPD (skin test), and Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis
A Covid-19 vaccination or a legitimate accommodation is required in order to be employed in this position. Covid-19 vaccination includes: 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine OR 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
