What IT Client Services contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
IT Client Services provides Tier 1-3 virtual and physical support to the organization's end users for software, hardware, conference room technology and meeting support, warehouse technology, server, network, and enterprise systems issues. Frequently responding to escalated issues from the IT Service Center family, this job family resolves user requests through discussions with users and coordination with internal and external resources, and provides education and trainings to users to facilitate knowledge transfer and prevent problem reoccurrence. IT Client Services also maintains ownership for certain end user productivity platforms and capabilities, such as virtual environments and collaboration toolsets, and addresses service outages. This job family acquires, installs and upgrades PC components and software, while also performing asset management for software and hardware.
Job Summary
Event production is the technological and creative execution of an event using sound, lighting, video, design, and more to control the atmosphere, mood, and emotion of attendees. This role will work with clients (typically meeting planners or event managers) to identify and subsequently plan the logistics and technical components, including but not limited to audio and video equipment, crew, outside vendors, budgets, etc.
Responsibilities:
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines and prioritizing jobs effectively.
Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
Ability to work, interact, and communicate effectively with C-Suite and other high-level positions within Cardinal.
Ability to manage live, virtual, and hybrid events Audio/Video production workstreams.
Role requires occasional travel to location for events. Typically, domestic travel, but international possible. Estimated 10% of time.
Occasional late hours and possible weekends for meetings in other time zones and tight deadlines, especially during peak season.
Our team supports the Zoom platform company wide, this sometimes requires interacting with clients to troubleshooting and answer IT tickets.
Ensure best practices are in place and drive for flawless execution in pre and postproduction of assigned projects.
Qualifications:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, and Mac operating systems preferred
General Audio/Video editing skills with experience in Adobe Creative suite preferred.
Strong knowledge in using video networking platforms Zoom and Microsoft Teams preferred.
Audio: Familiarity with Behringer X32 and Yamaha QL series consoles preferred
Video: Knowledge of live video switching, Tricaster experience preferred
Lighting: Basic knowledge of DMX addressing and Jands lighting control preferred
Experience in A/V networking including knowledge in Dante and NDI protocols preferred.
