What Inside Sales contributes to Cardinal Health
Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. The sales cycles will tend to be simple and short-term in nature and may or may not lead to a long term customer relationship. Can sometimes be viewed as cold calling, telesales.
Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying daily, monthly and annual trends and creating actions plans to attain sales goals
Responsible for conducting daily remote coaching sessions through Verint with Sales Associates to guide them through sales presentations and maximize sales opportunities
Provide on-going coaching to sales associates utilizing business specific tools and techniques
Exemplify strong daily presence virtually to monitor and motivate sales team towards achievement of daily sales and customer serviced goals
Responsible for administering disciplinary actions according to company guidelines and policies
Conduct daily meetings with sales associates to communicate sales promotions, procedural or policy changes and provide motivation to the selling team
Conduct monthly team meetings and performance reviews
Monitor performance and productivity levels of the sales associates to ensure daily achievement of sales goals
Responsible for managing a sites daily staffing plan to ensure adequate of customer bases
Monitor and approve employee time worked and time off requests
Recommend future staffing needs
Participates in the interviewing process as needed
Accountable for achieving daily sales objectives
Responsible for actively building relationships with other departments and locations
Support overall company initiatives
Responsible for sales associates performance awards
Works within budget/financial objectives to design and implement sales incentives
Approve/deny exception requests submitted by sales associates
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred but not required
2 years of healthcare sales experience preferred
Strong planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments

Anticipated salary range: $60,200 - $86,100 + incentive plan eligibility
